Latehar.A passenger vehicle filled with devotees met with an accident near Kotam Mod under Garu police station area of ​​the district. About 10 people suffered serious injuries in this incident.

In which 5 people were referred to RIMS for better treatment after primary treatment at Latehar Sadar Hospital. The incident occurred late on Saturday night at 11:00 pm. All the injured are residents of Latehar police station area.

According to the information received from the local people, the devotees from Latehar had reserved a vehicle and had gone to offer prayers at the famous Tanginath Dham in Gumla district. Everyone was returning after worshiping late on Saturday night.

Meanwhile, the vehicle went out of control and crashed near Kotam turn of Garu police station area. Almost all the people traveling in the vehicle were injured in the accident, while more than 10 people were seriously injured. The injured include Bajrang Prasad, Rohit Kumar, Rambha Devi, Anita Devi, Soni Devi and some children.

As soon as the information was received, Garu police became active and on the instructions of station in-charge Jaiprakash Sharma, the police team reached the spot. After this, all the injured were sent to Latehar Sadar Hospital for treatment.
