Factory worker stabbed to death for protesting against robbery, three minors arrested

New Delhi. Police have solved the case of a 60-year-old factory worker being stabbed to death during a robbery in Begumpur area of ​​Rohini district.

The police have arrested three minors involved in the incident. On their information, two knives used in the murder and the clothes worn at the time of the incident have been recovered.

A senior police officer said on Thursday that on June 23, a PCR call was received at Begumpur police station that a person was lying injured on Pansali Road and blood was coming out of his mouth.

As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot, but by then the injured had been taken to Babu Jagjivan Ram Hospital. There the doctors declared him dead.

During investigation, the deceased was identified as Rajesh, resident of Shahbad Dairy. He used to work as a laborer in a factory located in Pratap Vihar. A case of murder was registered in the case and investigation was started.

During the investigation, joint teams of Begumpur police station and Rohini special staff traced the activities of the deceased and investigated the entire link from his workplace to the incident site.

The police scanned the footage of nearby CCTV cameras, interrogated the local people and identified the suspects through technical surveillance.

The investigation revealed the role of three minors, whose activities were found around the spot at the time of the incident. During interrogation, all three confessed to their involvement in the crime.

One of the accused threatened him with a knife, while the other two caught hold of him. When he protested, the main accused attacked Rajesh with a knife. After he was seriously injured, the accused searched him and took out Rs 4,080 kept in his pant pocket and fled.

Later, all three divided the looted amount among themselves. At the behest of the accused, the police have recovered two knives used in the murder and the clothes worn at the time of the incident. Further action is being taken in the matter.
