This makes the pulses easier to digest. Apart from this, the amount of purine in red lentils is also medium. You can consume this also. Keep in mind that cook the pulses till it gets cooked well and use it in food after adding light tempering to it.
Which pulses should not be eaten due to uric acid?
Those who have the problem of high uric acidity should avoid foods high in purine. Such people should not consume gram dal, arhar dal, pea dal. This causes damage and may increase the problem of pain. Apart from this, consumption of high protein items like kidney beans, chickpeas and black gram should also be minimized. Due to excess purine in these pulses, uric acid starts increasing in the body.
How to reduce uric acid?
Drink as much water as possible to reduce uric acid. Reduce the intake of things like spinach, tomatoes and seeds in your diet. Do not consume too many sweet drinks, sweets or other things. Do not consume beans. Do not eat too much alcohol, fried food and non-veg. Instead, balance the meal with quinoa and rice. These are good for digestion. To improve metabolism and digestion, try to drink lukewarm water first thing in the morning. Do exercise for some time every day.
