Several blasts and firing reported in Karachi

Karachi: Several explosions have been reported near Chowringhee in Karachi, Pakistan. There has also been news of heavy firing along with several explosions on the University Road of the city. According to reports of alleged terrorist attack on Rangers office in Karachi, the attack took place at the office of Karachi Transport Company (KTC) at around 8:10 pm on Saturday night. First of all there was an explosion, after which several explosions were heard one after the other. However, authorities have not yet officially confirmed the number of casualties nor revealed the identity of the attackers. The motive behind this attack is also not clear yet.

Karachi was shaken by the blasts
According to sources, more than six armed attackers entered the premises of the Rangers Headquarters. According to the information, after this there was an explosion at the Rangers Headquarters in Gulistan-e-Johar, Karachi. It is being told that due to the blast, windows of nearby buildings were broken and nearby trees were also damaged. There is an atmosphere of panic in the area after this incident. Along with ambulances, vehicles of security forces can also be seen at the spot. Some local people were also seen at a distance.

Four security personnel were also killed
According to initial reports, the attackers also opened fire after the blast. According to local sources, several ambulances were seen carrying injured Pakistani security personnel from the Rangers compound in Karachi. According to unconfirmed reports, 5 attackers have been killed so far in this suicide attack, while the encounter is still going on with other attackers. On the other hand, there are reports of 4 security personnel being killed. At present firing is going on from both sides. Many others are also seriously injured. There is still an atmosphere of chaos at the spot.

8 terrorists killed in Balochistan
Let us tell you that before this, 8 terrorists were killed in two separate operations by security forces in Balochistan, Pakistan. The Inter-Services Public Relations Department, the media wing of the Pakistan Army, said security forces launched two intelligence-based operations on June 25 and 26 in Kharan and Mastung districts of Balochistan. 8 terrorists were killed in these operations. The statement said that arms, ammunition, IEDs and motorcycles were also recovered from the slain terrorists.
