Heavy fall in gold and silver prices continues even today

Gold and Silver: The trend of falling prices of gold and silver continues even today. On Tuesday, a decline of more than 1 percent was seen in the price of gold. On the other hand, silver is also trading with a decline of about 1 percent. Since the start of trading on MCX today, both the precious metals are trading in the red with a continuous decline.

Gold price reached Rs 1,40,450
At around 09.28 am on Tuesday, gold for delivery on August 5 was trading at Rs 1,40,757 per 10 grams, with a huge fall of Rs 1645 (1.16 per cent). Today gold started trading with a huge fall of Rs 1516 at Rs 1,40,886 per 10 grams, which closed at Rs 1,42,402 per 10 grams on Monday. Till the time of writing the news, the price of gold had reached from an intraday high of Rs 1,40,886 per 10 grams to an intraday low of Rs 1,40,450 per 10 grams.

Silver prices came to Rs 2,20,000 per kg
Similarly, today the price of silver for delivery on September 4 was down by Rs 2132 (0.96 percent) and was trading at Rs 2,20,502 per kg. Today silver fell by Rs 2387 and started trading at Rs 2,20,247 per kg, which closed at Rs 2,22,634 per kg on Monday. Till the time of writing, the price of silver had reached an intraday high of Rs 2,21,277 per kg to an intraday low of Rs 2,20,247 per kg.

Gold becomes costlier in bullion market
After 3 consecutive days of decline in Delhi’s bullion market, gold prices saw a rise on Monday. Whereas, silver prices declined for the fourth consecutive day. According to All India Bullion Association, on Monday, gold prices closed at Rs 1,46,600 per 10 grams with an increase of Rs 1,300. Apart from this, the price of silver fell by Rs 2000 to Rs 2,24,000 per kg.
