Amid fluctuations in early trading, stock market rose, Sensex and Nifty rose.
New Delhi. There was a bullish trend amid fluctuations in the domestic stock market during early trading today. The business also started on a strong note.
Although there was a slight decline in the market movement as soon as the market opened due to selling pressure, but after some time the buyers made buying pressure. After trading till 10 am, Sensex was trading with a gain of 0.61 percent and Nifty with a gain of 0.66 percent.
After the trading till 10 am, shares of the big companies of the stock market, HCL Technology, Tata Steel, Bajaj Finserv, Hindalco Industries and Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories were trading with a strength of 3.73 percent to 1.94 percent.
On the other hand, shares of Adani Enterprises, TMPV, Mahindra & Mahindra, State Bank of India and Tech Mahindra were seen trading with a weakness of 0.48 per cent to 0.34 per cent.
In the current trading, there was active trading in 2,734 shares in the stock market. Of these, 1,763 shares were trading in the green after earning profits, while 971 shares were trading in the red after incurring losses.
Similarly, out of 30 shares included in Sensex, 22 shares remained in the green with the support of buying. On the other hand, eight shares were trading in the red due to selling pressure. Whereas out of 50 shares included in Nifty, 37 shares were seen trading in green mark and 13 shares were seen trading in red mark.
BSE Sensex opened today at 78,152.34 points with a gain of 650.22 points. As soon as the trading started, due to selling pressure, this index fell by about 300 points from the opening level to the level of 77,854.83 points.
After this, buyers created buying pressure, due to which the position of this index started improving. After trading till 10 am amid continuous buying and selling in the market, the Sensex was trading at 77,976.42 points with a gain of 474.30 points.
Like Sensex, NSE’s Nifty jumped 199.95 points today and started trading at 24,375.65 points. As soon as the market opened, a tussle started between buyers and sellers, due to which the movement of this index also started fluctuating.
Under selling pressure, Nifty fell by about 80 points from the opening level to the level of 24,295.15 points. On receiving buying support, it also jumped to the level of 24,378.15 points.
After continuous buying and selling in the market till 10 am, Nifty was trading at 24,336.40 points with a gain of 160.70 points.
Before this, on the last trading day on Thursday, the Sensex had closed at the level of 77,502.12 points with a gain of 579.48 points or 0.75 percent. At the same time, Nifty ended Thursday’s trading at the level of 24,175.70 points with a rise of 169.85 points or 0.71 percent.
