Example of women empowerment: 5 women will get employment through ‘Shakti Didi’ campaign in Gwalior
Gwalior. Today on Saturday, five more needy women will become Shakti Didi in Gwalior district of Madhya Pradesh. Presently 118 needy women in the district are successfully discharging the role of Shakti Didi as fuel delivery workers.
In fact, as per the intention of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav towards women empowerment in the district, needy women are being made self-reliant through the “Shakti Didi” innovation initiated by Collector Ruchika Chauhan. Under this innovation, needy women are being provided jobs as fuel delivery workers at petrol pumps.
District administration informed that senior officials including Collector Ruchika Chauhan will reach various petrol pumps today and give the responsibility of fuel delivery workers to women as “Shakti Didi”.
The Collector will make Hemlata, Lalita and Priyanka Shakti Didi at Jain Motors Camp located in front of Kamalaraja Hospital at 12 noon.
Similarly, Additional District Magistrate CB Prasad will hand over the responsibility of Shakti Didi to Aarti Baghel at Ganga Filling Station Veerpur and Joint Collector Juhi Garg will hand over the responsibility of Shakti Didi to Manisha at Ma Petroleum located on Singhpur Road, Murar.
