Fatehpur: A sensational incident came to light in Fatehpur district of Uttar Pradesh which shook everyone. An old brother kept making his real sister a victim of lust and the girl was not able to say anything to anyone due to fear and embarrassment. But when he gathered courage and told the family about his elder brother’s actions, no one believed him. After this, he made a video of his brutality with his friends and gave it to his family members, then the girl’s younger sister-in-law reached the police station and gave a written complaint. When the police arrested the accused and interrogated him, the brother confessed to the rape and said that he saw the face of his dead wife in his sister, hence he had physical relations with her.
Jail had murdered his wife 3 years ago
The case pertains to a village in Thariyav police station area where a young man had murdered his wife three years ago when she refused to drink alcohol. On which the police sent him to jail. The accused brother, who was released on bail two years ago, kept forcibly raping his younger 16-year-old sister for the last one and a half years. Fed up with her brother’s atrocities, when the girl, with the help of her friends, made a video and showed it to the family members, everyone got embarrassed. On the complaint of the younger sister-in-law, the police registered a case under several serious sections including the POCSO Act and took action to arrest the accused brother and send him to jail.
After being released from jail, he made his younger sister a victim of lust.
It is being told that the village of accused 30 year old brother Ravendra Paswan is about 28 kilometers from the district headquarters. The accused works as a laborer and is also a drug addict. The accused had murdered his wife in September 2023. When his wife refused to drink alcohol, Ravendra beat her to death. After this the police registered a case and sent him to jail. When he reached home after coming out of jail on bail, it is said that one evening he caught his younger sister in an inebriated state and forcibly and threatened her and raped her. The accused brother told the police that he could see the face of his dead wife in his sister, so he had relations with her.
Family did not agree, video evidence revealed the secret
The victim informed her family about the incident about 15 days ago, but the family members did not believe her. After this she narrated her ordeal to her younger sister-in-law and friends. When the younger sister-in-law protested against the brother-in-law, the accused beat up the younger sister-in-law as well. With the help of her friends, the girl made a video of the incident, after watching which the family members got the correct information about the incident.
Sister’s video evidence became a weapon for punishment
Then, based on the complaint of the younger sister-in-law, the Thariyav police station registered a case and sent the accused elder brother to jail. Inspector-in-charge Shamsher Bahadur said that the accused was arrested and presented in the court, from where he was sent to jail. The girl’s medical examination was conducted on Thursday.
The victim is studying in high school
The family of the accused consists of a younger brother and his wife, apart from the mother and the victim’s younger sister. Father had died 7 years ago. The accused and his brother work as labourers. The victim’s sister is studying in high school. After being released from jail on bail in June 2024, Ravendra used to forcibly rape his sister whenever he came under the influence of drugs.
