Deepika Padukone: Veteran Bollywood actress and politician Hema Malini has been in Hindi cinema for more than 6 decades. During this, she also revealed the name of the actress whom she wants to see playing her role on the big screen.
Hema Malini wants to see Deepika Padukone in her biopic
During the program, when Hema Malini was asked that if her biopic is made, would she like to see Deepika in her role in the biopic? So in response she made it clear that if a biopic is made on her, she would like to see Deepika Padukone in it. Answering the question, Hema Malini said, ‘If she wants, she can do it. Anybody can do it.’ After this he praised Deepika and said – ‘Deepika is a beautiful and talented girl.’

Let us tell you, Hema Malini and Deepika Padukone have always had a good relationship. In 2017, when Hema Malini’s biography ‘Hema Malini: Beyond the Dream Girl’ written by Ram Kamal Mukherjee was launched, Deepika Padukone was chosen for it. Not only this, it is also believed that one of the two roles that Deepika played in Shahrukh Khan starrer ‘Om Shanti Om’ was inspired by Hema Malini. Her character Shantipriya was also called ‘Dream Girl’, this title was associated with Hema Malini in the 70-80s and even today when Dream Girl is mentioned, only Hema Malini’s face comes to people’s eyes.

Recently Hema Malini celebrated her 60 years in the film industry. He also shared a post on social media regarding this, in which he wrote – ‘What a memorable and brilliantly organized event. My years in the film industry (Diamond Jubilee) were celebrated with such pomp and grandeur. It was really incredible. The people present in the auditorium seemed completely lost in my films and music and the most important thing is that they stayed till the end.
