MP: CM will interact with investors in Bharat Tex-2026, will give new impetus to textile investment

Bhopal. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will give impetus to new investment opportunities in Madhya Pradesh by interacting with leading textile investors, industry representatives and global brands from India and abroad in the four-day Bharat Tax-2026 organized at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi from today (14 to 17 July).

Giving information, Public Relations Officer Babita Mishra said that in Bharat Tax-2026, initiatives will be taken to attract new investment in textile, garment and footwear sector in the state through single industry meetings, round table discussions, MoUs and investor dialogue.

The special pavilion of Madhya Pradesh in Bharat Tech-2026 will effectively present the state’s industry-friendly policies, modern industrial infrastructure, skill development, PM Mitra Park and the entire industrial chain of the textile sector to the global industry.

He said that in the proposed one-on-one meetings of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav with major textile and garment companies of the country and abroad, topics like new investment, expansion of production capacity, export growth, employment generation and technical cooperation will be discussed in detail. Union Textile Minister Giriraj Singh will also be present on this occasion.

According to the Public Relations Officer, several important MoUs will be signed with the aim of pursuing investment promotion, skill development, export promotion and industrial cooperation.

Besides, many national and international companies are also likely to express their interest in participation and investment in the Global Investors Summit to be held in Madhya Pradesh in January 2027.

He said that the special round table meeting in Bharat TEX-2026 will also be important for Madhya Pradesh, in which more than 100 industrialists, investors and representatives of industry organizations related to textile and garment industry are likely to attend.

In the meeting, suggestions from the industry will be received on issues related to export promotion, global competitiveness, sustainable manufacturing, logistics, skill development and investment.

On the basis of these suggestions, further strategy will be prepared to give new impetus to the expansion and investment of textile industry in the state.

According to the Public Relations Officer, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav will also highlight before the investors those features of Madhya Pradesh, which have included the state among the leading textile investment destinations of the country.

The entire textile value chain from cotton production to spinning, weaving, knitting, dyeing, finishing and garment manufacturing is available in the state. Madhya Pradesh identified as the largest organic cotton producing state in the country,

The textile eco system being developed on the concept of ‘Farm to Fashion’ and the PM Mitra Park being developed on approximately 2,158 acres in Dhar district will be a center of special attraction for global investors.

Investors will also be given information about capital investment incentives, interest subsidies, electricity duty reimbursement, land concessions and other industrial facilities available for the textile, garment and footwear sectors.

He said that through Bharat Tex-2026, Madhya Pradesh’s effort is to promote new investments, more employment, export expansion and long-term industrial partnerships in the textile sector.

With this objective, the Chief Minister will invite the representatives of the industry to participate in the Global Investors Summit to be held in January 2027 and will call upon them to become partners in the industrial development journey of Madhya Pradesh.
