South Africa was bundled out for 74 runs during the first T20I against India in Cuttack on Tuesday, handing the opposition a massive 101-run victory.
This was the lowest team score managed by the Proteas in the format. Dewald Brevis was the top-scorer for the visitor with 22 off 14. Apart from him, only three batters notched up a double-digit score. During the innings, Jasprit Bumrah picked two wickets to become the second Indian bowler to claim 100 wickets in the format.
The lowest score for South Africa before Tuesday was 87 runs, which also came against India in 2022 in Rajkot. South Africa has been skittled out before 100 runs
