IPL Auction 2026: Who is Salil Arora? Punjab batter who smashed a 39-ball 100 and enters at Rs. 30 lakh base price

Punjab batter Salil Arora smashed a 39-ball hundred in a Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy knockout match against Jharkhand at the D.Y. Patil Academy in Pune on Friday.

Arora was particularly severe on Sushant Mishra, taking three sixes and a four off the left-arm pacer in the final over of the innings to push Punjab to 235 for 6.

Arora finished unbeaten on 125 off 45, which included nine fours and 11 sixes.

Arora is listed in the IPL auction pool in the wicketkeeper category with a base price of Rs 30 lakh.

Kolkata Knight Riders, which will be on the lookout for an Indian wicketkeeper, may be interested in acquiring Arora’s services.
