WPL 2026: Gujarat Giants signs Assam’s Jintimani Kalita as injury replacement for Titas Sadhu

Gujarat Giants (GG), on Thursday, announced the signing of Jintimani Kalita as an injury replacement for Titas Sadhu for the remainder of the 2026 Women’s Premier League (WPL) season.

Jintimani, who had previously played for Mumbai Indians in the WPL, has 13 matches against her name.

A left-handed batter and a right-arm medium fast bowler, she will join GG for Rs. 10 Lakh.

Titas, a pacer, was signed the Giants for Rs. 30 lakh during the WPL 2026 Auction but she remained unused for the side’s first five matches this season.

The Giants face UP Warriorz later in the day in a league-stage fixture at the Kotambi Stadium in Vadodara.
