Which teams have qualified for T20 World Cup 2028?
Pakistan on Wednesday defeated Namibia in their Group A match in Colombo and secured its qualification to the Super Eights stage of the T20 World Cup 2026.
With the result, Pakistan also sealed an automatic qualification for the next T20 World Cup, which will be held in 2028 and co-hosted by Australia and New Zealand.
According to the current ICC rules, 12 teams qualify directly: the host nation(s), top eight teams from the previous edition, and two to four next-best sides in the T20I rankings.
The remaining eight teams are determined through the regional qualifiers. Three teams from Asia, two each from Africa and Europe, and one from Americas will make their way through the regional tournaments.
