Harmanpreet Kaur becomes most capped player in women’s international cricket
India captain Harmanpreet Kaur became the most capped player in women’s international cricket during the second T20I against Australia at the Manuka Oval in Canberra on Thursday.
The 36-year-old, playing her 356th international match, went past New Zealand’s Suzie Bates (355). Harmanpreet has now featured in 189 T20Is, 161 ODIs and six Tests.
India leads the three-match T20I series 1-0, with three ODIs and a one-off Test to follow.
