AUS-W vs IND-W: Grace Harris dismissed hit wicket in series decider between Australia and India

Grace Harris was dismissed hit wicket during a tense conclusion to the series decider between Australia and India at the Adelaide Oval on Saturday.

Harris walked to the crease in the 16th over of Australia’s chase of 177 with the scoreboard at 128 for six. She got off the mark with a single off her first delivery. The Australian batter then looked to pull the first legal delivery of the next over from N. Shree Charani behind square, but trod on her stumps in the process.

The wicket put India on the verge of a historic series victory in Australia, only its second against that opponent, and the first in 10 years.

India won the first T20I at Sydney by 21 runs on DLS, before Australia levelled the series with a 19-run victory at Canberra. The two sides now play three ODIs and a one-off Test.
