Delhi defeated Railways by seven wickets to win the senior women’s one-day trophy (elite) final played at the IS Bindra Stadium in Mohali on Saturday.

This is Delhi’s second title in the format in senior category.

Delhi finished the 134-run chase inside 29 overs with opener Priya Punia top-scoring with 76 off 90 balls while her partner Pragya Rawat made a 56-ball 46.

Dayalan Hemalatha was the lone fighter to score 64 off 105 deliveries but couldn’t find support from the other end. Poonam Yadav had the next best score of 19.
