Where will RCB, RR, and PBKS play their IPL 2026 home games?

The BCCI announced the schedule of the 19th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) set to begin on March 28.

Defending champion Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will host the opening fixture against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

M. Chinnaswamy stadium will host a total five RCB home matches during the IPL 2026 while the other two home games will be held in Raipur.

The venue has still not cleared the final rounds of testing. An inspection will be held on March 13 at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium for the final clearance.

“The matches scheduled in Bengaluru are subject to clearance from the Expert Committee constituted by the Government of Karnataka. The committee will conduct a meeting and inspection of the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium on March 13, 2026, during which a full-scale mock demonstration of match-day arrangements will be carried out to assess the stadium’s preparedness for hosting IPL matches,” the IPL release stated.

Apart from RCB, Punjab Kings and Rajasthan Royals, too, will divide their home games between two venues. PBKS will play four matches in New Chandigarh and three in Dharamsala. RR, meanwhile, will play three home matches in Guwahati and four in Jaipur.

So far, the BCCI has only announced schedule for the first 20 matches — from March 28 to April 12.
