Kolkata Knight Riders unveils new jersey ahead of IPL 2026
Three-time Indian Premier League (IPL) champion Kolkata Knight Riders unveiled its new jersey ahead of the upcoming 2026 IPL season, which is set to begin on March 28.
KK revealed its new threads on Friday, with the return of the iconic, shiny gold patches on the shoulders and side panels.
The KKR franchise won its three IPL titles in 2012, 2014 and 2024 whilst finishing runners-up once in 2021.
Last year, MI, led by Ajinkya Rahane, finished eighth at the end of the league stage and failed to qualify for the playoffs.
KKR will begin its pre-season training on March 18 in Kolkata while the players will arrive in the city a day prior. According to some reports, uncapped domestic players such as Tejasvi Singh, Angkrish Raghuvanshi, Ramandeep Singh, Prashant Solanki, and Sarthak Ranjan will join the camp, along with captain Rahane. Rinku Singh and Varun Chakaravarthy are expected to join the team a day or two later.
KKR will start its IPL 2026 campaign against Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on March 29. Its first home match will be against Sunrisers Hyderabad on April 2.
