India’s N. Shree Charani finished as the highest wicket-taker in this edition of the Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 with 14 wickets in five games.

In what was a disappointing group stage exit for the reigning ODI World champion side, Charani was a stable presence with her left-arm spin. Her standout game was a four-wicket haul against Netherlands where she gave away just 19 runs.
