Sanjay Singh/Jamui: Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) leader Chirag Paswan has a strong hold in central and state politics. But Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad in Jamui (ABVP) workers created a new political controversy by putting up posters of the missing of Chirag Paswan’s brother-in-law and MP Arun Bharti.
Leaders of the Grand Alliance say that the present MPs are more interested in the politics of Delhi and Patna rather than the development of the region. This is the reason why this area is still neglected compared to other districts of the state. However, LJP RK supporters later removed these posters. Now there has been political excitement on this issue.

Why are you angry with the MP??
Chirag Paswan has also represented Jamui parliamentary constituency twice. Being a big face of politics, people were hopeful that Jamui would be rejuvenated. Barring one or two big projects, no major projects came to Jamui’s share. In the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Chirag Paswan contested from Hajipur and fielded his brother-in-law Arun Bharti from Jamui seat.

People say that after winning the elections, Arun Bharti rarely comes to the area. He also stayed in Jamui for two days during the assembly elections. People say that due to his continuous stay out of the area the common people are facing problems. This area is already backward in terms of development. The expectations that the people here had from Chirag Paswan could not be fulfilled. Now his brother-in-law is also following the same footsteps.
What do LJP R supporters say??
Supporters of LJP RK say that party MP Arun Bharti is continuously making efforts for the development of the area. It is wrong to say that no major work was done during the tenure of Chirag Paswan. Many works related to railway, health and road projects have been done in Jamui. Some people are misled and do such things.
