Arun Vijay revealed that his experience switching between characters helped ease the transition between both sets. However, the actor disclosed that he does not talk much on set when he is about do a serious scene and remains in that mood. As a result, the actor said that he could not listen to a conversation that his Retta Thala co-star Siddhi Idnani had with him and that the latter noticed his lack of attention. He also shared that his family knows about his tendency to stay in the mood of his characters at home and that they support him in his work.
Retta Thala stars Arun in a double role; previously, the actor did two roles for 2019’s Thadam as well. The film, which also stars Tanya Ravichandran and Yogesh, among others, is set to release later this December, coinciding with the Christmas festival.
