Arvind Kejriwal cried saying ‘Kejriwal is not corrupt…’ Sisodia took over
Aam Aadmi Party national president and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has been acquitted in the Delhi Excise Policy case. On Friday, Rouse Avenue Court acquitted 23 accused including Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia in the Delhi Excise Policy case. Rouse Avenue Court’s Special Judge Jitendra Singh gave clean chit to Kejriwal along with Manish Sisodia in this case. The court discharged all the 23 accused involved.
Arvind Kejriwal spoke to the media after being acquitted by the court. During this time, senior party leader Manish Sisodia was also present with him. Kejriwal cried while talking to the media. After this he was taken over by Sisodia. Wiping his tears for a while, Arvind Kejriwal said, ‘BJP used to say that Kejriwal is corrupt… after this he started crying.’

Kejriwal said after wiping his tears
Wiping his tears, Kejriwal said, ‘Kejriwal is not corrupt. I have only earned honesty in my life. They filed a false case. Today it has been proved that Kejriwal is staunchly honest. Manish Sisodia and the common man are staunchly honest.
Refusal to take cognizance of charge sheet
During the hearing, the court also refused to take cognizance of the chargesheet filed by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in the corruption case related to the alleged excise policy scam. The court made a sharp comment on CBI and said that there were many shortcomings in the investigation. In the charge sheet filed by the CBI, there were no witnesses or statements at many places which could prove the allegations. The court said that there are many shortcomings in the charge sheet which are not supported by the evidence.
