Kejriwal Middle Class Demands: Former CM of Delhi and National Coordinator of Aam Aadmi Party Arvind Kejriwal has demanded from the Modi Government at the Center to reduce the tax burden. In the new budget (Budget 2025), he proposed to increase the education budget, curb private school fees, remove tax from health insurance and increase the IT exemption limit from Rs 7 lakh to Rs 10 lakh. I demand from the Central Government that the education budget should be increased from 2 to 10 percent. Fees of private schools should be controlled. Scholarships should be given for higher education. Health budget should be increased to 10 percent and tax should be removed from health insurance. Income tax (IT) exemption limit should be increased from Rs 7 lakh to Rs 10 lakh. GST should be removed from essential commodities. A strong retirement and pension plan should be made for senior citizens. Senior citizens should be given free treatment in all government and private hospitals across the country. The elderly were earlier given concessions in the Railways which have been discontinued, they should be started.

Former CM Kejriwal said that the tax burden on the middle class is the highest. The middle class has become just an ATM. The thousands of common people who together run the country are the middle class. The middle class is troubled the most in our country. More than 50 percent of the income of middle class people goes in paying taxes.
Kejriwal made this demand from the Center
- The education budget should be increased from 2 to 10%.
- Private schools should be controlled.
- Subsidy and scholarship should be given for higher education.
- Health budget should also be reduced to 10%, tax should be removed from health insurance.
- Income tax exemption limit should be increased from Rs 7 lakh to Rs 10 lakh.
- GST should be abolished on essential items.
- Strong retirement plans should be made for senior citizens and they should be provided free treatment across the country.
- The relaxation given to the elderly in Railways should be re-implemented.

After this, Parliament will resume on March 10 and will continue till April 4.
