There was an attempt to foment conflict between North and South – Sanjay Singh

Sanjay Singh added, “There was an attempt to foment conflict between the North and the South, and the opposition has foiled that attempt by rejecting the bill. It was not a women’s reservation bill at all. The bill passed in 2023 said that first there would be a census, then the constituencies would be reorganized and the bill would be implemented after 2029. Then we said, give 33 percent women’s reservation today out of 543 and hold elections in 2024… You are reducing seats in Bengal, you Reducing seats in Tamil Nadu, you are reducing seats in Odisha. Who are you asking before doing this?”
