tata sierra booking : The year 2025 is going to end as a golden year for Tata Motors. The company had opened bookings for the year-end Sierra SUV on December 16, receiving a record-breaking response with over 70,000 bookings on the very first day. Apart from this, 1,35,000 customers have expressed their desire to buy this car.

Tata Sierra SUV was launched in India on 25 November. Its ex-showroom price ranges from Rs 11.49 lakh to Rs 21.49 lakh. Booking token amount is Rs 21000. This SUV is available in multiple variants with petrol and diesel engine options. It is the top-of-the-line Tata Sierra vehicle in the company’s product portfolio. The company had gifted the first unit of Sierra to all the players of the Indian women’s cricket team that won the ICC Women’s World Cup 2025.

Sierra Engines and Specifications

The new 2019 generation Tata Sierra has a new 1.5-litre GDi turbo petrol engine, which generates power of 158 bhp and 255 Nm. This engine comes with 6-speed automatic transmission. The option of 1.5-litre narrow petrol engine is also available in Sierra, which generates power of 105 bhp and 145 Nm. It can be had with a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed DCT. Another option is the 1.5-litre four-cylinder diesel engine, which generates 116 bhp and 260 Nm of power. It can also be had with a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed DCT. All-wheel drive (AWD) has also been announced for the Sierra. This will be the first Tata model to get this technology in the new generation Tata vehicles.

Sierra interior and features

The cabin of the Sierra is similar to the Curve, but it incorporates several elements of Tata’s design language for the first time, such as a triple-screen layout, a 12-speaker JBL sound system with soundbar, HUD and a new center console. Other features include dual-zone climate control, connected car technology, Level 2 ADAS, 360-degree camera, and power and ventilated front seats. The iconic Alpine roof has been redesigned to suit modern times.

Sierra Design and Security

Key design highlights of the Tata Sierra include a boxy silhouette, alpine glass roof, 19-inch alloy wheels, full-LED light package, rear spoiler and a new version of the signature Tata grille. It is available in six exterior and three interior color options. All variants of the Sierra come with six airbags, ABS with EBD, stability program and ISOFIX child seat mounting points. Its length is 4.6 meters and wheelbase is 2.7 meters.
