Case filed against Trump as soon as he became President, Musk's problems also increased
New Delhi. Donald Trump has become the new President of America. But his problems have increased as soon as he became President. Just minutes after taking oath, he is facing trial. The American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE) and non-profit Public Citizen have filed a lawsuit against the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) over their plan. DOGE is led by Elon Musk, whose aim is to cut government spending.
The responsibility of the Government Efficiency Department has been handed over to billionaire Elon Musk. There are concerns about Musk's role that his plans could have a negative impact on the jobs and interests of government employees.
Musk's plan a threat to government employees
The DOGE plan proposed by the Trump administration aims to cut government spending by $2 trillion. This scheme has created fear of losing jobs among government employees. AFGE says the DOGE plan is not following federal regulations and has asked the court to block DOGE from serving as an advisory committee until it follows the required regulations.
