need to protect minorities

Owaisi said Bangladesh was formed on the basis of secular Bengali nationalism, and there are about 20 million minorities who are not Muslims. He expressed hope that tension between India and Bangladesh will not increase. On the tragic incidents of Dipu Chandra Das and Amrit Mandal, Owaisi said that whatever is happening in Bangladesh is against their constitutional mandate. He expressed hope that Bangladesh Prime Minister Yunus will ensure that all minorities living in Bangladesh are protected.

Bangladesh’s stability is important for India’s security

Owaisi also said that we should remember that stability in Bangladesh is extremely important for the security of India, especially Northeast India. Referring to a popular revolution in Bangladesh, he said that we hope that the relations between India and Bangladesh will become even stronger after the elections to be held in February. Additionally, Owaisi also said that India’s enemy forces, such as ISI and China, are active in Bangladesh, which cannot be ignored.

Owaisi is also concerned about the incidents happening in India

Owaisi termed the incidents happening in Bangladesh as wrong, but at the same time he also talked about paying attention to the incidents happening in his own country. He said a laborer from West Bengal was beaten to death in Sambalpur, Odisha on December 24, and Angel Chakma, a tribal boy pursuing MBA in Uttarakhand, died after being beaten.
