PM Modi paid tribute in emotional words

Expressing deep grief over the demise of Asha Bhosle, Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared pictures with her and wrote that her voice enriched Indian culture for decades. He wrote in his message that there was a timeless magic in Asha ji’s singing, which kept connecting every generation. The PM also said that the memories of his meetings and conversations with him will always remain in his heart. Indian President Draupadi Murmu also expressed deep condolences. He wrote in X that Asha Bhosle’s demise has left such a void in the world of music, which is difficult to fill. Recalling his long and illustrious career, the President said that with his voice he gave a new identity to Indian music and defined an entire era. He also said that Asha Bhosle was not only a great artist but also inspired millions of people by living her life on her own terms.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that Asha Bhosle’s voice took Indian music to new heights and it will always resonate in millions of hearts. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari called it an irreparable loss to the music industry, while Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said that his songs were heard by many generations and their resonance will always remain.
