Asha Bhosle will be cremated with state honours, 4 hours fixed for last darshan

He was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital after his health deteriorated on Saturday. Despite the continuous efforts of the doctors, he could not be saved. His son Anand Bhosale confirmed this sad news while talking to the media outside the hospital. He told that his mother is no more in this world and the family is in deep mourning. He also shared information about the last darshan and programs related to the last rites. According to Anand, on Monday, April 13, from 11 am to 3 pm, people will be able to have the last darshan of Asha Bhosle at her residence ‘Casa Grand’ in Lower Parel, Mumbai.
The last rites will be performed at Shivaji Park crematorium on the same day at 4 pm. Due to his demise, there is a wave of mourning not only in the film and music world but also in the entire country. Asha Bhosle was the younger sister of legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar, who died on 6 February 2022. Both sisters took Indian music to new heights for decades.
The funeral will be held with state honors
Meanwhile, considering his contribution, the Maharashtra government has decided to perform the last rites with state honours. BJP leader Ashish Shelar met the family and expressed his condolences and said that this matter has been discussed with Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. The government believes that Asha Bhosle’s music and her legacy are invaluable, which will always be remembered.
