Mumbai: Former India spinner Harbhajan Singh praised Gujarat Titans head coach Ashish Nehra, saying that his energy is like that of a football coach and he has instilled unity in the team. Harbhajan said that Nehra’s constant communication with the players and deep understanding of the game has played an important role in the success of Gujarat Titans.
He said in a release, “Ashish Nehra is the only person who can make the atmosphere comfortable anywhere, anytime. Wherever he goes, he makes everyone around him comfortable.”
Talking about Nehra’s role during matches, Harbhajan said, “He is like a football coach. Never sits still. He will keep holding a player and talking to him throughout the match.” He said, ”Nehra ji has a deep understanding of the game and the work he has done with Gujarat Titans is commendable.”
