New Delhi: The drama inside the Bigg Boss 18 house may have ended, but it’s far from over on social media. Karan Veer Mehra’s win has stirred a storm online with fans of Vivian Dsena and Rajat Dalal expressing their displeasure in a less-than-friendly manner. TV actress Ashita Dhawan who was a staunch supporter of Karan has now become a target of trolls and threats.
On Wednesday (January 22), Ashita shared an Instagram story revealing that she’s been receiving threats from what she cheekily referred to as “chhapris sitting on tapris.” Her only “fault”? Standing by her friend Karan throughout his journey in the reality show. Karan, ever the supportive friend, reposted Ashita’s story further highlighting the issue.

Fans were quick to criticise this irrational behaviour, calling out the toxicity of Rajat Dalal’s fan base. Sadly, this isn’t the first instance. Earlier, Sandiip Sikcand, another close friend of Karan, disclosed that he too had received death threats for supporting the Bigg Boss 18 winner.

The victory hasn’t sat well with some fans and even certain co-contestants. Vivian Dsena hosted a party on Tuesday night but conspicuously left out Karan and his close-knit “family gang” of Chum Darang, Shilpa Shirodkar, and Digvijay Rathee. Adding fuel to the fire, the party featured subtle digs at Karan’s victory, proving that the bitterness runs deep.
