Ashok Pandit’s big statement on contract dispute and stardom: Said- Do not link the issue of ‘Don 3’ with the success of ‘Dhurandhar’

New Delhi . Amidst the discussions and controversies that have been going on for some time regarding actor Ranveer Singh’s film ‘Don 3’, senior filmmaker and organization representative Ashok Pandit associated with the film industry has clarified his position. He said that the entire matter should not be seen as a personal dispute, as his and the organizations concerned are concerned only with professional commitments and the functioning of the industry.

Ashok Pandit said that the strength of any film industry is based on trust, discipline and mutual professional relationships. He believes that the agreements made between artists, producers and production houses should be respected. If any kind of difference or dispute comes up, it is necessary to resolve it in a professional manner, so that a healthy environment is maintained in the industry.

During this time, he also mentioned the career of Ranveer Singh and the relations of the production houses associated with him. According to him, even when the actor’s career was going through a challenging phase, some producers and studios stood by him. In such a situation, the relationships and trust built between artists and producers should be given importance. He said that even after achieving new heights of success, one should not forget those who supported us in difficult times.

Ashok Pandit also expressed his opinion on the subject of stardom. He said that Hindi cinema has seen many big stars from time to time and stardom is always changing. The love of the audience is the biggest asset of any artist, but popularity alone is not enough. Trust, discipline and commitment are equally important for long-term respect and success in the industry.

During this discussion, he also openly praised director Aditya Dhar’s film ‘Dhurandhar’. According to him, the film has given new energy to Hindi cinema and has created enthusiasm among the audience. He said that such successful films benefit the entire industry and also encourage the return of audiences to theatres. This is the reason why the success of the film is being widely appreciated.

However, he clarified that the success of ‘Dhurandhar’ and the controversy related to ‘Don 3’ should not be linked to each other. According to him, both the subjects are completely different and mixing them creates confusion. While a film’s achievement should be celebrated, issues related to contracts and professional processes should be handled differently.

Ashok Pandit said that the objective of organizations associated with the industry is not to target any particular person. Their main objective is to protect the interests of the film industry and maintain transparency and trust in its functioning. He reiterated that he has no personal conflict with any artiste and all decisions are taken keeping in mind the larger interests of the industry.

  • His statement is considered important amid the ongoing debate in the film industry, as it tries to convey the message that it is important to maintain a clear distinction between personal relationships and professional responsibilities. The industry will keep an eye on ‘Don 3’ and its related developments in the coming times.
