Ashutosh Brahmachari attacked with a sharp weapon, tried to cut off his nose, saved his life by hiding in the train toilet

Prayagraj, 8 February. Ashutosh Brahmachari, who filed a sexual harassment case in the court against Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwarananda Saraswati, has been fatally attacked. According to the information, he was coming to Prayagraj by Rewa Express train. Meanwhile, he was attacked with a sharp weapon inside the train. They were reported attacked near Sirathu railway station between Fatehpur and Kaushambi districts. However, Ashutosh Maharaj saved his life by locking himself in the train toilet. Ashutosh Maharaj also suffered injuries at many places in this attack. He reached Prayagraj in a bloody condition. At present his condition is out of danger.

Accusations against Avimukteshwarananda

While talking to journalists, Ashutosh Maharaj directly blamed Swami Avimukteshwaranand for this attack. He said that the attacker wanted to cut off his nose. He has expressed suspicion of plotting an attack on Swami Avimukteshwarananda. Apart from this, he has also lodged an FIR in the GRP police station at Prayagraj Junction. Ashutosh Maharaj was given medical treatment at Colvin Hospital in Prayagraj. According to the information, he was coming to Prayagraj by boarding Rewa Express train from Ghaziabad, meanwhile he was attacked inside the train itself.

The accused mentioned about registering a case

Actually, the hearing of the case related to Mathura Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi dispute is to be held in Allahabad High Court on March 12. Apart from this, a reply has to be filed in the High Court in the case of sexual exploitation allegations against Swami Avimukteshwarananda. Ashutosh Maharaj was coming to Prayagraj to plead both the cases. During this time he was attacked. Ashutosh Maharaj was traveling in H1 coach of Rewa Express. Accusing Swami Avimukteshwaranand, he said that recently his people had offered a reward of Rs 21 lakh to cut off his nose and were shown doing so. He said that the accused said during the attack that if you have filed a case against our guru, he will kill you.

Several GRP teams have been deployed to identify the accused of attack on Ashutosh Maharaj. Teams are also collecting information about this from near Sirathu railway station. GRP has taken many information from Ashutosh Maharaj about the identity of the person who attacked. Police suspect that the attacker may also be drunk. Ashutosh Maharaj has also demanded security after this attack. He says that the way a reward has been placed for cutting off his nose, he is in further danger.
