Deadly attack on Ashutosh Brahmachari, attempt to cut off his nose in a moving train, saved his life by hiding in the toilet
Prayagraj. Ashutosh Maharaj, who had lodged an FIR against Jyotishmath’s Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwarananda Maharaj, Shankaracharya of Jyotishmatha for sexual harassment, was fatally attacked in a moving train on Sunday. Ashutosh told that he was going from Ghaziabad to Prayagraj by Rewa Express Train. Was sitting in first AC coach. On the way, near Sirathu railway station at around 5 am, an unknown assailant tried to cut off his nose with a sharp weapon. He was hit several times on the face and hands. Serious injuries occurred. A lot of blood was shed.

According to Ashutosh, he somehow escaped to save his life and locked himself in the train toilet. From there the GRP was called and informed about the incident. He has held Swami Avimukteshwaranand, his disciple Mukundanand and others responsible for the attack. At present, GRP has registered an FIR on the basis of the complaint. Investigation into the matter has been started.
Ashutosh said that Avimukteshwaranand got the attack done so that he could not present evidence in the court. They know that after seeing the evidence they will not be able to get bail from the court. This is an attempt to divert attention from the yatra.
Ashutosh’s purpose of accusing us is only to get media attention.

Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwarananda clarified that he is not in favor of physical violence and will answer the allegations only with arguments. He also warned the government if permission is not given for the Lucknow program of March 11.
