Ashutosh Maharaj Court Hearing: These days, a case is in the headlines in Prayagraj, the city of religion and faith, which has shaken the spiritual world. The hearing in the special POCSO court of Prayagraj in the case of alleged sexual exploitation of children in the camp of Shankaracharya Avimukteshwaranand of Jyotish Peeth has been completed. When the hearing started at 2 pm today, the atmosphere was quite tense. Ashutosh Maharaj (disciple of Jagadguru Rambhadracharya), the complainant in the case and himself playing the role of a lawyer, made an emotional appeal in the court. He said that two disciples have narrated their ordeal to me, which is heart-wrenching. Children are being harassed under the guise of Gurukul.

Victim children told the whole story

Considering the sensitivity of the case, the judge ordered to vacate the POCSO court room. In a closed room and under the surveillance of cameras, the victimized children narrated the entire story of their exploitation in front of the judge. According to Ashutosh Maharaj, the children told the court how they were tricked in the camp by saying that what was happening to them was the real Guru Seva.

Threat to lawyer’s life and evidence of CD

During the hearing, Ashutosh Maharaj described the threat to his life and said that he was receiving threats to blow him up. He has also presented several CDs before the court, which he refused to make public. He says that this evidence is so strong that the truth will be revealed to everyone. When the judge asked him what he felt about the victims, he cited Guru tradition and said that after not getting justice, the children contacted him and now he is their guardian.

While coming out of the court room, Ashutosh Maharaj looked very emotional and his tears welled up. Minor children with their faces covered were also with them. He told the media that the children have told all the truth. Now the decision is in the hands of the judiciary. I and these children are in danger here, so we have to leave Prayagraj. On the other hand, Shankaracharya’s lawyers have termed all these allegations as baseless and have demanded more time to study the case. Now everyone’s eyes are on the decision of the court, which is related to the personality of a person holding a big spiritual position in the country and the future of innocent children.
