After Ravichandran Ashwin's retirement, his father made a big allegation, told the big reason behind his retirement; BCCI will not like it

Sports Desk: Ravichandran Ashwin announced his retirement after the third Test match being played between India and Australia. The cricket world was completely shocked by the announcement of his retirement. After Ashwin's retirement, his father has made shocking revelations. His father Ravichandran said he felt humiliated.

Ravichandran while talking to a channel said, “I also came to know at the last moment. There could be many reasons for the way he retired. Only Ashwin knows, probably because of the insult.” His father said that the family had been expecting Ashwin's retirement for some time because he was 'being insulted', although he did not reveal the exact nature of it.

Washington Sundar was selected for the first Test in Perth over experienced off-spinner Ashwin, who took 537 Test wickets for India, while he got a chance to play in the Pink Ball Test in Adelaide. Ashwin was again dropped from the playing eleven for the third Test at 'Gabba' and this time Ravindra Jadeja got a chance to play.

He said, “Suddenly Ashwin surprised us by retiring. We were expecting it because the insults were coming. How long can he tolerate all those things? Maybe he would have decided on his own.” Ravichandran said that it was Ashwin's decision to walk away from international cricket. This is his (Ashwin's) wish and desire, I cannot interfere in it. The way he retired, on one hand I was very happy, on the other hand I was not happy because he should have continued playing.

Ashwin's decision may have come suddenly but India captain Rohit Sharma revealed that he had spoken to Ashwin during the Perth Test. “It was on his mind and obviously there were a lot of things behind it,” he said. When I reached Perth we talked about it and I somehow convinced him to stay for the pink ball Test match.” Ashwin said, “Things kept happening after this.” He felt that if I (Ashwin) are not needed right now then it would be better for me to say goodbye to the game.”
