India has the right to host the Asia Cup 2025. But, due to strained relations with Pakistan, the tournament will be played in UAE. The matches are expected to be held in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah. The unusual relations between India and Pakistan also affected the Champions Trophy 2025. Pakistan was the organizer of this ICC event. But, due to security reasons, BCCI did not send Team India to Pakistan and the tournament was organized in hybrid model. The Indian team played all its matches in Dubai. If India and Pakistan are grouped together in the Asia Cup 2025, they could face each other three times: once in the league stage, then in the Super-4 round and possibly in the final.
