Asian Hockey Champions Trophy 2024: The Indian men's hockey team's excellent performance continues in the Asian Hockey Champions Trophy. In this series, on Saturday, India defeated Pakistan 2-1 and registered its fifth consecutive win in this Hockey Asian Champions Trophy.

The match was played at the Moki Hockey Training Base in Hulunbur. Captain Harmanpreet Singh scored both the goals for India. Ahmed Nadeem scored a goal for Pakistan.

Let us tell you that the Indian team has won all its 5 matches played in this Asian Champions Trophy. Whereas Pakistan has won 2 out of 5 matches and is at second place after India in the points table. Both teams have already qualified for the semi-finals.

The first goal of the match was scored by Pakistan in the eighth minute. Nadeem Ahmed gave his team a 1-0 lead by scoring a field goal, but after this India did not give a chance. Captain Harmanpreet Singh converted the penalty corner into a goal within a short time. After the first quarter, the score was equal to 1-1, but at the beginning of the second quarter, India got another penalty corner, which was also put into the net by 'Captain Sahib'. The score line remained intact at 2-1 till the 19th minute.
