Asian Shooting Championship: India won two gold and three silver medals Gujarati
India had won five medals on the first day of the Asian Shooting Championship. Which includes two gold and 3 silver moons. India’s Girish Gupta has won the gold medal in 10 meter air pistol event and Dev Pratap has won the silver medal in the 16th Asian Shooting Championship. Girish got 241.3 points and Dev Pratap got 238.6 points in the final. India had won two gold and three silver medals on the first day. Kapil Bainsla won the Gold Medal in Junior Men’s Air Pistol. Kapil also won silver medals in senior and junior men’s team competition.
Earlier, Kapil had won India’s first gold medal in the 10 meter air pistol event. India’s Jonathan Gavin Antony won the bronze medal. The team of Kapil, Jonathan and Vijay Tomar won the silver medal. In the senior men’s category, the team of Anmol Jain, Aditya Malra and Saurabh Chaudhary won the silver medal. The final matches of the women’s air pistol event will be held today on the second day of the championship.
