Assault on Ashutosh Brahmachari who filed the case against Avimukteswarananda; attempted murder

Meanwhile, the sexual harassment case against Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteswarananda (Crime News) filer Ashutosh Brahmachari has been assaulted. Attempts have been made to kill him. Ashutosh Brahmachari, who had filed a case against Swami Avimukteswarananda, was attacked while traveling to Prayagraj by the Rewa Express train. The incident took place between Fatehpur and Sirthu railway stations in Kaushambi district. According to media reports, Ashutosh Brahmachari was attacked with a sharp weapon, which left him seriously injured. He locked himself in the train toilet to save his life. Many parts of his body were injured and he was bleeding profusely.

Ashutosh Brahmachari was traveling to Prayagraj

After the fatal attack, Ashutosh Brahmachari reached Prayagraj injured. At present, his condition is stable and he is undergoing necessary treatment. While interacting with the media, he said that the assailant was trying to cut off his nose. Ashutosh Brahmachari suspects that Swami Avimukteswarananda is behind this attack. He is currently undergoing medical examination at the hospital. They have applied to the Prayagraj GRP to register an FIR, naming Swami Avimukteswarananda and others as conspirators. Another criminal case is likely to be filed against Shankaracharya Avimukteswarananda in this case.

Previously accused of sexual harassment

It is noteworthy that Ashutosh Brahmachari had earlier made serious allegations of sexual harassment against Swami Avimukteswarananda Saraswati and filed a case against him in this regard. He had alleged that young batukas (religious students) from the flood-affected areas were brought to the ashram and tortured.

In a press conference in Prayagraj, Ashutosh Brahmachari made several serious allegations against Swami Avimukteswarananda Saraswati. He claimed inappropriate behavior at an ashram and named several individuals as accused. He also said that people who call Mother Ganga dirty cannot take bath in Ganga.
