Assi or Do Deewane Seher Mein: Who won at the box office on the first day? Know what is the condition of O Romeo
These days, films of different genres are entertaining the audience in theatres. On one hand, there is a courtroom drama based on social issues like ‘Assi’, on the other hand, a romantic love story like ‘Do Deewane Sehar Mein’ is also among the audience. Before this, ‘O Romeo’ and ‘Tu Ya Main’ have also been released. Let us know what was the condition of these films at the box office.
How did ‘Assi’ perform on the first day?
‘Assi’, directed by Anubhav Sinha, has received appreciation from critics. Despite a strong theme and a strong story, the film could only make a business of Rs 1 crore at the box office on the first day. In such a situation, the question has again arisen that why despite having a good story and positive reviews, many films are not able to perform as expected at the ticket window. Now all eyes are on the weekend collection.
How much did ‘Do Deewane Sehar Mein’ earn on the first day?
At the same time, the beginning of Mrunal Thakur and Siddhant Chaturvedi starrer ‘Do Deewane Sehar Mein’ was also nothing special. According to Sacknilk data, the film earned Rs 1.25 crore on the first day. Although it was slightly ahead of ‘Assi’, it also received mixed reviews from critics. Now it remains to be seen how much momentum this film can hold on the weekend.
The pace of ‘O Romeo’ slowed down
On the other hand, the pace of Shahid Kapoor’s ‘O Romeo’ remains slow at present. Even after a week of release the film could not cross the Rs 50 crore mark. On the second Friday i.e. the eighth day, the film collected Rs 2.25 crore. In this way, its total business in eight days has reached Rs 49.35 crore.
‘Tu Ya Main’ remains cold at the box office
Whereas Shanaya Kapoor and Adarsh Gourav’s ‘Tu Ya Main’ was seen struggling at the box office right from the beginning. The film earned only Rs 20 lakh on the eighth day, taking its total collection in eight days to only Rs 4.65 crore. Now it remains to be seen what turn the fortunes of these films take in the coming days.
