Delhi: Atishi took oath as the Chief Minister of Delhi after Aam Aadmi Party convenor Arvind Kejriwal resigned. Atishi is the third woman Chief Minister of Delhi. Before this, Sheila Dixit from Congress and Sushma Swaraj from BJP have become the Chief Minister of Delhi.

Five ministers of Atishi cabinet have also taken oath as ministers. After Atishi, Saurabh Bhardwaj, Kailash Gehlot, Gopal Rai, Imran Hussain and Mukesh Ahlawat took oath as ministers. Atishi reached the Lieutenant Governor's Secretariat to take oath in a car with AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal. Atishi has played many important responsibilities in the Aam Aadmi Party. She was also a member of the manifesto drafting committee that prepared the first manifesto of the Aam Aadmi Party, which made its electoral debut in 2013, and played an important role in shaping the party's policies in the initial days.
