End of Anant Singh's muscle power or just a challenge to his supremacy? Amidst the election buzz, a glimpse of Bihar's Jungle Raj was seen.

Patna: Yesterday in Bihar there was a rain of bullets just a few kilometers away from the capital Patna. The target of the bullets coming out of the barrel of the gun was powerful leader Anant Singh, who was a four-time MLA from Mokama. The site of the attack is said to be Anant Singh's stronghold. He may be known as Bahubali in Bihar, but in Mokama, Anant Singh is also called Robin Hood.

While Anant Singh's voice speaks, the rain of bullets in his own stronghold and on him in broad daylight is giving rise to many apprehensions and speculations. Anant Singh narrowly escaped this attack but his reputation as a muscleman was ruined.

Meaning of the challenge given to Anant Singh in Mokama

This incident has not only come in the form of firing but has also challenged Anant Singh on the political ground of Mokama. Bihar has a long history of challenging the most influential person in the area and jumping into elections.

On the other hand, it is being seen as a fight for supremacy before the Bihar Assembly elections. Despite being with the ruling party, people are seeing the firing on Anant Singh as the initial script of a new gang war, which can create problems for the Bihar government and the police administration.

Challenge being given from both sides

Anant Singh is famous in Mokama as 'Chhote Sarkar'. His court is also held, like a court, he himself settles the small disputes of the area. This is the reason why they have been called small governments. In one such dispute, Anant Singh had gone with his Lav Lashkar to a village in Mokama to hold a Panchayat. The matter was of some money. As soon as he reached the Panchayat, two gangster brothers named Sonu-Monu opened fire on him. After this Anant's supporters also opened fire. After the incident, Sonu-Monu fled from the spot. Now both sides are challenging each other. Due to this, the possibility of a new gang war cannot be ruled out. Seeing this incident, one remembers the Jungle Raj that spread in Bihar in the 90s.

Criminal record of Anant Singh

Anant Singh's elder brother was murdered during the Jungle Raj that spread in Bihar in the 90s. By killing his brother's murderer, an innocent man had entered the world of crime. After this he did not look back. Currently 38 criminal cases are registered against Anant Singh. One of these cases was for possessing AK-47, in which he was sentenced to 10 years imprisonment. However, later the Patna High Court acquitted him due to lack of evidence. This matter was quite popular. Currently, he is out of jail and busy preparing for the 2025 elections.
