Australia will start the tour with an ODI series. The first match of the series will be played on June 9, while the second match will be played on June 11 and the final match of the series will be played on June 14. Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka will host all the matches of the ODI series. After ODI, the T20 series will start from June 17. Whereas, the second T20 match will be played on 19th and the last match will be played on 21st June. All the matches of the T-20 series will be played at Shrestha Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium in Chattogram.

Australia will play ODI series in Bangladesh after 15 years
This ODI series will also be Australia’s first series in Bangladesh in 15 years. Australia last played an ODI in Bangladesh in 2011. A 3-match ODI series was played between the two teams. All the matches of the series were hosted by Sher-e-Bangla Stadium in Dhaka. That series was also the first series for Michael Clarke as captain of Australia.
Last visited Bangladesh in 2021
The Australian men’s team last toured Bangladesh in August 2021. On this tour, the Kangaroo team played a T20 series of 5 matches. Bangladesh’s performance in this series was excellent and they defeated Australia 4-1. After the disappointing performance in the T20 World Cup 2026, the Australian team will take the field to play a match in this format for the first time. In the T20 World Cup, Australia was eliminated from the tournament in the group stage after losing to Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka.

Australia team will go from Pakistan to Bangladesh. The Kangaroo team will play a three-match ODI series against Pakistan. However, the dates of this series have not been announced yet. It is believed that this tour may start from May 30. The ODI matches to be held in Pakistan and Bangladesh are being considered very important for the ODI World Cup to be played in South Africa next year.
