Australia vs India 1st Test: Team India's first innings in the second session on the first day of the first Test of the Border Gavaskar Trophy against Australia has ended. Team India's batsmen remained ineffective in front of Australia's penetrating and sharp bowling. Team India could not even play 50 overs. Team India's innings ended at 150 runs in 49.4 overs. Rishabh Pant scored 37 runs in 78 balls with the help of 3 sixes and 1 four. Dhruv Jurel scored 11 runs. Whereas KL Rahul was playing continuously. But due to the controversial decision of the third umpire, KL had to leave the field. KL scored 26 runs in 74 balls with the help of 3 fours.
Team India limited to 150 runs
Both Yashasvi Jaiswal and Devdutt Padikkal could not pluck even a single pumpkin. Both Virat Kohli and Washington Sundar disappointed. Virat scored 5 runs and Sundar scored 4 runs. Debutant Harshit Rana scored 7 runs while captain Jasprit Bumrah scored 8 runs. Mohammad Siraj returned unbeaten without playing a single ball. Josh Hazlewood took maximum 4 wickets for Australia. Mitchell Starc, captain Pat Cummins and Mitchell Marsh took 2 wickets each.
