Australia’s hold on the series
With this victory, the Kangaroo team showed how strong it is in home conditions. Depth in batting and variety in bowling gave them an edge. Now it will be necessary for India to rethink the strategy and combination in the next match.
After suffering a 2-1 defeat against India in the T20 series, Australia made a strong comeback in the ODIs and won the series 2-0. In such a situation, it would not be wrong to say that the Kangaroo team has completely settled the accounts of its previous defeat against Team India. With this victory, the confidence of the Australian players will definitely reach new heights and now they will be eyeing a clean sweep of India in the last ODI. On the other hand, the situation has become challenging for the Indian team—they will not only have to change their strategy, but will also have a big responsibility to save honor in the series by winning the final match.
