Ash Gardner wreaked havoc, Australia won the second T20 match by 29 runs

The second match of the T20 series between Australia and New Zealand women's cricket team is being played at Harrup Park, Mackay where Australia defeated the visiting team by 29 runs.

In this match, Ash Gardner made a splash for Australia with both his batting and bowling, for which he was also awarded the Player of the Match award. He took 3 wickets for 17 runs in 4 overs against New Zealand. Before this, Gardner had also played an important innings of 18 runs. Let us tell you that Australia had set a target of 143 runs in front of New Zealand, chasing which the New Zealand team was able to score only 113 runs by losing 7 wickets in 20 overs.

For New Zealand, only Suzie Bates (34), Maddie Green (22), Isabelle Charlie (18) and Brooke Holiday (11) scored some runs. For Australia, apart from Gardner (3 wickets), Darcy Brown, Georgia Wareham and Annabel Sutherland also took one wicket each.
