According to this announcement, the Australian team will tour Zimbabwe in September this year. During this tour, the team will play a three-match ODI series against the hosts from September 15 to 20. This series is considered very important in terms of preparations for the upcoming World Cup, because this big tournament will be jointly hosted by South Africa, Namibia and Zimbabwe.
ODI match in Zimbabwe after 12 years
The Australian team will play ODI matches in Zimbabwe after almost 12 years. Before this, he last played an ODI match here in the year 2014. Although Australia did tour Zimbabwe in 2018, they then took part in the T20 tri-series, which also included Pakistan. Now the return of the team for the ODI series after a long gap is considered very important.

The first match of this ODI series will be played on 15 September, while the second match will be played on 18 September and the third match will be played on 20 September. All three matches will be held at the Harare Sports Complex.
