Australian squad for the pink ball test
Tasmanian all-rounder Beau Webster, currently 30 years in age, added to Australia’s squad on Thursday for the second Test of the ongoing five-match series between India and Australia. He was born with 5297 runs and 148 wickets to his name in 93 First-Class matches so far.
The second Test of the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy will be played with pink ball from December 6 to 10 at Adelaide Oval in Adelaide.
Cricket Australia said in its official announcement on Thursday, “Tasmanian allrounder Beau Webster has been added to the Australian men’s squad for the second NRMA Insurance Test match against India in Adelaide.”
“Webster will join the squad in Adelaide next week having been named the Sheffield Shield player of the year last summer and continuing that form this season.”
“Jack Nisbett, meanwhile, has been brought in to replace Jem Ryan, who sustained a foot injury at the weekend, in the Prime Minister’s XI to play India in Canberra this weekend.”
